About This Farm
Thirteen Mile Farm is a small operation producing grassfed lamb seasonally. We primarily market locally but can occasionally ship meat, organs, bones. No synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers are used in our farming operations. We use non-lethal methods to protect our livestock from native carnivores. We believe in integrated cropping/livestock/fiber/meat practices and are therefore collaborating with neighboring (and leasing) growers who produce vegetables/seeds/flowers and we make wool products made animals' fiber. Sheep evolved to live on grass and other forage; accordingly we do not feed grain to our ruminants.
